Pembinaan Literasi Media Sosial bagi Pelaku UMKM Desa Cibereum

Abstract
Community Service carried out by lecturers and students of Communication Science at Sali Al-Aitaam University in the form of social media literacy development for MSMEs in Cibeureum Village with the Decree of the Research and Community Service Institute Number: 92/LPPM/YAAS/PKM/XII/2025 aims to provide training, formation and development for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cibeureum Village to go digital. Cibereum Village, located in Kertasari District, Bandung Regency, is renowned for its beautiful mountains, tea plantations, carrot, potato, and cabbage production, and its location at the Cisanti Kilometer Zero point of the Citarum River. Cibeureum's micro, small, and medium enterprises still sell their produce to markets and market it primarily by word of mouth. There has been no social media literacy training. Therefore, an explanation of social media literacy is crucial for intelligent and healthy media use and production. The training covered the Canva business model, social media literacy for village MSMEs, social media promotion methods, and simple financial management. Social media literacy is the ability to understand and use social media safely, effectively, and profitably for a business. The social media promotion training was conducted for MSMEs in Cibeureum Village, including sellers of ladu cakes, wheat cakes, pumpkins, pickles, and potato chips. Data analysis techniques in this community service used descriptive qualitative methods, namely interviews and documentation to obtain valid information. This community service was carried out in stages during the two-week Real Work Lecture with the distribution of promotional training on TikTok and Instagram. The methods used were lectures, guidance and practice. Through these methods, the following outputs: (1) social media literacy, (2) products promoted on social media (3) articles published in the mass media Pikiran Rakyat.com (4) articles presented in the National proceedings at Sali Al-Aitaam University, namely the Renjana Journal: Innovative Unisal Community Service in 2025.
